City of Espoo in Finland, as the first European city, published smart and up-to-date 3D city model, which is freely usable throught a WFS interface as open data. Espoo's 3D city model provides rich information, which makes it possible to analyze Espoo's urban structure and infrastructure in multiple ways. The open interface service enables everyone to use the constantly updated city model. Thus, it facilitates the creation of new solutions, saves costs and time as well as ensures more proficient customer service.
