Klaipėdos Vanduo, one of the Lithuania's major water utilities, is improving their network operation and maintenance processes and has chosen Trimble NIS as their network asset management solution.
Klaipėdos Vanduo supplies drinking water to the residents and businesses in the Klaipėda district. Their network consists of well over 1600 km of water supply pipelines and sewerage pipelines. With its modern and comprehensive water supply infrastructure, the company is one of the Lithuania's most advanced water utilities.
"Over the last few years, Klaipėdos Vanduo has focused on improving its operations. However, until now, we have not been able to find a suitable solution to meet our needs in network operations and maintenance. A solution that would help us organize the field work and secure undisturbed operations even in the most demanding situations. However, Klaipėdos Vanduo is the first company in Lithuania to utilize the Scandinavian expertise in the water utility asset management. To ensure success, the system implementation and maintenance will be taken care of by the consulting company UAB Teisi Energetikos Sprendimai (TES).
