Trimble Unity Network Manager is a web-based solution for users who need to access, view and edit a utility's network anytime, anywhere.
Good usability is at the heart of the solution, making it easy to use also on a tablet in the field.
Trimble Unity Network Manager serves as a future-proof platform that supports utilities’ processes.
- Network data is easily accessible wherever you are, also on a tablet.
- The solution works on all modern browsers and does not require client installation or remote desktop.
- Excellent data sharing capabilities save users’ working time.
- Trimble Unity Network Manager has a user-centric interface for improved efficiency.
App users have access to network and maintenance data anytime, anywhere. They can view maintenance observations and actions, as well as attachments such as sewer survey reports. The visibility of objects can be defined on a per-user basis, i.e. the users can view only the levels to which they have access. For example, connection points can be hidden from external users. It is also possible to present only the stormwater network to the city employees who work with stormwater.
Network locations can be searched for and viewed via map views. Finder queries, on the other hand, are a handy way to visualize, for example, sewer surveys on a map. The app users can also search for nearby network objects, such as fire hydrants.
Network data can also be viewed and edited remotely, so customer service tasks can be carried out efficiently anytime, anywhere. When a customer service agent is investigating a contact, they can view network, customer, and maintenance data securely and easily. Network data can be viewed and edited without installation, as long as the user has a working internet connection.
The consultant has access to the water utility's data and can complete and correct the information. The changes are saved in the network data for review and approval, which improves the quality of the data. Granting access rights to a limited planning area is secure and does not create extra work for the utility. For the actual design work, the consultant can export the data in the correct format from the water utility's system, so that all the important information is transferred. This Inframodel format enables design based on a data model.
