Web-based Trimble Unity Network Manager
Manage the Digital Twin of your network with an easily accessible, yet secure, web-based solution. Make remote work easier with future-proof Trimble Unity Network Manager: view and edit the network, search for objects and customers, and run Finder queries on your network data. You can also easily create PDF printouts of the network.

Digital forms in the field
Go digital with your field work by taking smart forms and digital checklists into use. For example, create checklists for commissioning inspections of newly constructed networks, or create safety checklists for field crews. Checklists can be created for any processes requiring forms to be filled in the field, such as warranty or quality inspections. A completed checklist is saved as a PDF report connected to the task and the network object in question. Utilities can define the checklists for each purpose.

Create tasks in the field and other improvements for task management
Create tasks conveniently in the field directly to network objects. This allows you to manage tasks in the field in situations where tasks cannot be created in the office. In addition, you can view all unassigned tasks in your working area. There is also a separate view for your scheduled tasks of the day and a handy weekly report of the working hours you have logged for your tasks.

Up-to-date messaging to landowners
Ensure up-to-date communication by sending messages quickly and easily to contract parties, such as landowners. You can, for example, inform them about construction schedules. Send and view messages in both Trimble NIS and Utility To Go, and highlight network objects according to the communication status.

Keep asset information easily up-to-date
Model planned network changes, such as construction or demolition, more accurately. A planned change doesn’t have to depend on the status of the object anymore. This information is used to calculate construction costs and network value changes, and you can also highlight the network accordingly.
Updating addresses to network objects is also easier with an integration to an external address service.

How to find optimal locations for Medium Voltage switches
Find the best locations for new remote disconnectors and network circuit breakers in the MV network. The targeted investments are an efficient way to quickly reduce the customer interruption cost. The service includes a comprehensive report on the proposed switching devices. The total savings and payback times for each proposed new switching device are shown in the results. This way, you’ll have a prioritized list that justifies investments in terms of comparable numbers and allows investments to be started with the most efficient one. This enables you to proceed within the available budget.

What’s new in Trimble DMS
Assigning tasks is even easier with a new shortcut. You can also view crews and their status conveniently in the Outage situation dialog. CIM-based DMS AMR interface to Kamstrup HES is now available.
