We want to make the benefits available to you more often and more easily, which is why we release new features also in maintenance releases. If you’re already using the version 22.2, the features released in this version don’t require a database upgrade.

Welcome to our "What's new in Trimble Unity" webinar on June 21, 2023 at 9 CET / 10 EET. Trimble Unity solutions include Trimble NIS, Trimble DMS, Trimble Utility To Go, and Trimble Unity Network Manager. Enroll here: https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/951267105786641247

Highlights in the 22.2-03 version:

  • In Trimble Unity Network Manager, there are new, handy tools for editing objects, which will help you document and plan your network more efficiently:
  • Continue an existing line or pipe from the endpoint of a line.
  • Add parallel lines to existing lines, such as cables or pipes.
  • Replace an object, such as a failed component, with a new one while preserving the object properties. You can also replace more than one object at a time.
  • Replace the text of an object with another, for example, to update the correct labels for objects in a distribution substation or manhole. You can update the texts of several objects at once with the handy find-replace function.
  • Add object labels automatically. You can define object and area-specific rules for the labels so that they’re automatically assigned a label according to the company's naming convention.
  • The model library allows you to document complex structures, such as distribution substation diagrams, and easily add them from the library to your network plan using the search and suggestion functions. The models are maintained in Trimble NIS but they can now be added to the network in Trimble Unity Network Manager.
  • The management of plans is streamlined by the possibility to edit the parties and access rights to the plan in Trimble Unity Network Manager. You can also add different types of notes to plans.
  • You can import objects measured with a tachymeter into Trimble Unity Network Manager in the Tky format.
  • Trimble ID is a new secure way to sign in to Trimble Unity Network Manager and Utility To Go. It’s used in many other Trimble applications and thus makes it easier for the user to sign in between programs. Trimble ID can also be linked to the company's Active Directory (AD).
